ak stevens one of the best modern shoegazing bands i've heard, right there on the same shelf as candy claws and crescendo. Favorite track: Live in Secrets.

Edward Rojas Few bands successfully bridge the gap between dream pop and shoegaze, however Cold Solstice taps into something unique, "Surf-gaze" if you will. With their distorted landscapes and melodic vocal phrases (and fucking incredible drumming) Cold Solstice stands as one of the best modern shoegazing bands. And these songs are catchy as hell. Favorite track: I H8 NYC.
